What is collected

Only what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the number of windows and anything you write about the house. If you phone or email instead, we receive your number or email address and whatever you tell us.

How it is used

Your details are used for one purpose: to pass your enquiry to the FENSA-registered installer described on who handles your enquiry, so that it can contact you, arrange a survey and quote. The lawful basis is your request for a quote, which is a step towards a possible contract. We do not sell your details, send newsletters or add you to marketing lists.

Who sees it

The installer, and the services that carry the message: the hosting that runs this site and the email service that delivers your enquiry. Each processes it only to deliver it.

How long it is kept

If your Dorking enquiry does not lead to work, your details are deleted 12 months after our last contact with you. If you go ahead with the job, records are kept for 6 years after the work is finished, because tax rules, the guarantee and legal claims all need them; the installer's own privacy notice, which it gives you, covers that period too.

Your rights
